Customer Review: Makes brake pad changing much easier than using a C-clamp or giant channel pliers to compress brake caliper pistons (my goto DIY). Used this to change out my pads/rotors for my 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport. There’s a little bit of a learning curve to figure out what position of the selector expands or contracts the tool. You do have to make sure you are pushing as directly as possible on the piston(s) or else there is risk of the plate going at an angle and crossthreading the tool. Comes also with s-hooks to hang your caliper on suspension parts to protect brake lines as well. Worked with a hitch to push both rear brake pistons for my SUV – thanks again.
